A bit about Faye…

“I have been a practicing artist for over 25 years. I specialise in Printmaking, having completed both a BA hons and MA in fine art Printmaking. I have also developed my visual language through painting, using oils, watercolour and mixed media drawings and paintings. I exhibit my artwork nationally and internationally and my work is in numerous private and corporate collections. I have taught printmaking and fine art in a number of London colleges and currently offer printmaking sessions and tutorials for artists in my private Pimlico studio. Inspiration has been drawn previously from travels to countries and places both near and far, exploring the concept of journeys and journeying, through time or place. I have more recently been exploring the use of found natural objects, collected from places visited, as well as from local walks taken during the lockdowns, to create prints through both cyanotype (a photographic process) and printmaking. The artwork shown in this exhibition will mainly be mine but will include prints of the artists who I work with and teach in my studio.”
