Open Art Spaces is a creative community-focused platform for artists & art-lovers.

We work to create accessible pathways for artists to connect & sell, and encourage people to invest in up-and-coming talent to suit every budget.

We facilitate exhibitions & events that reflect our ethos of accessibility and diversity, our Spaces range from coffee shops, wine bars & restaurants to outdoor markets, including our successful residency on Portobello Road.

Emma Murphy

Emma inherited Open Art Spaces from the founder after an extended break. She quickly restructured, rejuvenated and re-energised the community project and now OAS have Art Markets, Curated Venues, and an Artist Agency that seeks to strengthen the area's creative community.

After completing a Photographic Arts degree, Emma volunteered with Roy's Art Fair, and after 4 years became their Marketing Manager. She has always had a love of all things creative. Her ethos of Art for All started from childhood roots of being taken to free art exhibitions on weekends and school holidays.

Emma believes that everyone can enjoy art, both purchasing and creating, this is her main motivation for developing Open Art Spaces.

Eve Kennedy

Eve has been with Open Art Spaces since the beginning. She oversees and manages our events, helping all artists feel confident and prepared for each event. Eve also works behind the scenes on our design and creative content.

Outside of OAS, Eve is a London-based Illustrator & Digital Designer. Her quirky, creative style is characterised by bold colours and lively lines.

Her ethos of sustainability is significant throughout her work, as is her belief in Art for All - Eve runs accessible arts workshops, which focus on inclusion and the importance of staying playful.
